Empowering a generation to win a generation.

For over fifty years we have walked alongside Sri Lanka's poorest communities — bringing hope through God's Word and compassionate action in education, nutrition, mission and leadership.

Our story

It began with a garage and thirty children.

In 1972, Cynthia and Alfred Devadason came upon hundreds of families living as squatters along the canal banks of Colombo. They didn't look away. A few years later, a small garage became the Good News Club — and thirty children found a place where they were fed, taught, and loved.

Five decades on, that same conviction — that every life has immeasurable worth — reaches 400+ villages, from the city to the tea estates of the hill country.
